OK.. looking back on it all, I have accepted the fact that the American public isn’t mature enough to choose wisely. I had the same feeling when they elected Ronald Reagan in 1980. The parallels are astounding.
I am not as disheartened as many of my fellow Bernie supporters, because I believe that the spirit of democracy will overcome the fault as the common people galvanize into a singular voice of dissent. The undeniable solidarity will shift the collective mind toward sane forms of human organization that far excel over fascism, racism and other foolishness being passed off as authoritative leadership.
The proof of the ineptitude of pampered, cavalier, presumptuous, callous, uninformed members of of the mob as ‘leaders’ will show up in the form of tragic losses and unbridled abuses of ‘power’ and ‘authority’ that are based purely in conjecture and prejudice. We shall see yet another shift toward common law or we will fall under Martial law.
The community will emerge as the source, store of value and means of reciprocity in a completely new paradigm of social capital with empathy relationships and true agency within the next system. With the P. T. Barnum of the 21st Century at the helm, we are sure to become a casino, circus or game show nation within which we can all become spectacularly deceived, if that is our personal, sovereign choice.
For the record, it wasn’t mine.
